Print design has some incredible talent and quite a lot of it. The same exists in TV and Film. Even the corporate side of graphics can look great, but when it comes to the internet, are we suffering at the hands of the un-skilled masses who have access to the tools, or is it a positive thing that all these people can contribute to the 99 percent of trash that already exists (including content) on the WWW? I'm not a design snob, but most pages make me lose a little faith, although this situation helps anyone who DOES have a flare for interactive design.
